One thing I look forward to every Monday is being able to participate in a flag football intramural team. It gives me an opportunity to get some exercise and have a lot of fun doing it. Many of the intramurals have both competitive leagues which are a little more serious and recreational leagues for those who are just looking to have fun. There are all kinds of different intramural leagues which you can get involved with throughout the year. Some of the other ones I have been involved with over the years are flag football, floor hockey, basketball, indoor soccer, broomball, and softball. I would highly suggest for any incoming freshman to get involved in as many intramurals as possible. It is a great way to get outside and meet new people.
In tonight's intramural game we faced the other undefeated team in our league and took our first loss of the season. Even though the game didn't go our way, it was still a blast to be able to compete with some of my friends through intramurals. Hopefully our luck changes next week.
